I like the inclusive nature of that. I feel I have an affinity with Druidry, but I’m not very big on the ritual side and the general consensus of belief within it, so I find it difficult to see myself as a Druid.But I do find being in wild and natural places very spiritual and inspiring.
I think Alan Watts once said that the shaman gets his magic from the forests and mountains, rather than the churches and temples.
Yes – I’ve heard many people’s interpretations over the years as to what Druidry is, and they never really felt inclusive enough to reach out to all the various forms that there are out there. It is like a language – it is something that draws us together while still allowing for each person’s Druidry to really reflect their own being. x
