Thank goodness this summer has not been as dry as last summer, and although some plants are stressed from the drought last summer and the dry winter, the garden is pulling through. It’s such a wonderful space, and now that my hayfever has settled down, I can go out and enjoy it!
Joanna, you have a beautiful garden .
Where in Suffolk is this wonderful place , you have so many happy herbs I am quite in envy.
We live outside of Woodbridge, near the coast. It’s a special environment – very warm and very dry, very sandy! Took us a while to understand what would grow and what would struggle in this acid soil, but we’ve pretty much got it sussed now and we have tons of perennials that can cope with the soil, the dryness and also occasional salty breezes from the sea!
