Where I live in Suffolk, there are a couple of big herds of fallow deer that gather at this time of year in numbers sometimes over 70 strong. Here’s a couple of shots that I managed to snap off this morning…
Great photos Jo, I really like the one at the top where they are in ‘flight’ and the single tree. The place I got the photos of the deer over the summer has had all the willows cut down so it is now very exposed, and it is not as pleasant to walk. The steam still sings but its song is one of missing the trees, and now the dryads will not have their winter dance this year.
